Artist is one of the many voices that I speak with – musician, writer, lover, fighter, and so much more.
Art is a word that speaks meaning in the plural: ‘arts’. I draw inspiration from artists of long ago, artists of today, and my secret heroes – imagining their lives bound by my own experience of life as a woman that is transgender in the 21st century, bringing this to bear as praxis in my life and in the art that I make.
